We're adding a Member Experience Specialist to the team - someone who genuinely cares, acts with urgency and ownership, and is obsessed with making every member feel like they belong. If that's you, we want to meet you.

Role

The Member Experience Specialist's primary role is to build and nurture club culture. They will consistently interact, communicate, and maintain an excellent relationship with gym members, fellow staff, and upper management.  The Member Experience Specialist is responsible for carrying out key functions for operating the gym. Here's what that looks like day-to-day:

  • Member Experience & Culture - You'll be a face of the club. Every interaction matters. Answer questions, solve problems, make people feel like they belong here.
  • Membership Growth - Follow up with leads, give tours that actually listen to what people need, help the right people join. No pressure, just persistence and care.
  • Operations & Admin - Keep the club running smoothly. Manage accounts, handle payments, maintain the space, organize events, knock out daily tasks.
  • Communication & Follow-Through - Calls, texts, emails, social media. You stay connected with leads and members at the moments that matter most.
The Member Experience Specialist also monitors the gym environment and operations on a daily basis and collaborates with upper management on possible improvements where needed to continue growth and success of the club.

A Note on Sales

This is NOT a high-pressure sales role. We pride ourselves on doing the right thing for humans who want our help - high integrity is a must, and sales mercenaries who would mess up our brand need not apply.

That said, the role DOES require tenacity. You'll follow up with people who reached out but need help taking the next step. If you're allergic to phones or give up after one unanswered text, this isn't for you.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills (phone, text, in-person, written)
  • Organized and reliable - you show up and follow through
  • Comfortable with technology (CRM, scheduling software, social media)
  • Positive attitude that's genuine, not forced
  • Ability to work flexible hours (mornings, afternoons, some evenings)
  • 18 years or older with reliable transportation
Experience in fitness or face-to-face sales is a plus but not required. We'll train the right person.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Pay: $20-22/hour
  • Monthly Bonus: Based on club performance metrics
  • Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
