- Sell memberships by connecting with those who walk through our door and having genuine interest in their goals and how we can help them with our offerings
- Explain and enforce gym policies and membership agreements clearly and confidently
- Overcome objections and effectively communicate the benefits of joining our gym
- Conduct tours of the facility with prospective members, asking thoughtful questions to understand their needs and showcasing how our gym can help them achieve their goals
- Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the gym
- Regularly clean and disinfect equipment, floors, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for everyone
- Keep equipment well-organized and in working order
- Build lasting relationships with members by creating a positive, supportive environment
- Greet every member by name, make every interaction a positive experience, and ensure members feel valued
- Support member retention by helping members navigate our services, technology, and initiatives to get the most out of their membership
- Curate engaging content for our social media pages to keep members informed, excited, and motivated
- Promote membership, retail, and training sales through online engagement
- Collaborate with the Manager on community and member engagement events
- Reach out to current members with personalized messages to recognize their achievements or invite them back to the gym
- Contact leads, schedule tours, and discuss membership options to turn prospects into new members
- Assist members with account-related questions (billing, payments, membership freezes, etc.)
- Be knowledgeable about our retail products and supplements to confidently assist members with product questions and sales
- A passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust
- Self-motivated, positive, and energetic with a strong work ethic
- A friendly, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work well with others
- Experience in sales or customer service (preferred but not required)
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing (preferred but not required)
