Job Summary
The club manager is a passionate individual who seeks to help members and guests improve their lives through health and fitness. This person is responsible for selling memberships, training services, managing the member and guest experience, and leading staff to work as a cohesive unit.  
This role requires a considerable amount of self-motivation, leadership, collaboration, communication, and the ability to positively influence others. 

Responsibilities
  • Sales – a large part of the club manager role is centered around membership and training sales. Managers must convert leads to members through daily follow-ups, relationship building, and follow through. A personal training background isn’t required, but in order to support continual growth, one must have the ability to speak to the value of our training program.
  • Brand promoters – When you love your gym, others will too. The club manager establishes relationships with businesses and influencers in the community to promote the brand through B2B marketing. This person also helps coordinate and execute engagement campaigns, national marketing campaigns, and community outreach efforts using assets and operations created by the Anytime Fitness corporate teams.
  • Day-to-day operations – club managers will be responsible for the daily club operational tasks such as running various reports, using our club management software and billing provider to help with member management/ engagement, completing lead follow-ups, posting to social media accounts, managing inventory, completing daily documentation, and keeping up with club cleanliness and equipment needs.
  • Culture creators – creating an environment that inspires members and guests to share their positive experiences with friends and family. They deliver top-notch customer service and aim to improve the lives of each person they meet.
Qualifications
  • Experience in the fitness Industry isn’t required, but sales experience, great communication and soft skills are preferred. A good candidate is:
    • 18 years or older
    • Available to work flexible hours [afternoons, evenings, weekends]
    • Friendly, outgoing, and warm
    • Genuine and honest
    • Demonstrates a drive for results 
    • Technologically savvy
    • Self-motivated
    • Good at managing time and schedules
    • Someone who sees sales as fun and rewarding


Compensation: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
