Responsibilities
Personnel Development
- Inspire coaches by fostering a trusting and authentic environment while hitting the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that drive success for them and the program overall
- Assist in the training of fitness training staff, identifying under performers for development
- Participate in monthly audits concerning the areas of customer service and administration, ensuring 100% compliance
- Collaborate with coaches to develop schedules, continued learning opportunities, and sales role playing
- Create a nurturing, supportive environment/culture; providing proper planning, encouragement, and accountability measures necessary to provide a valuable, long-term member experience
- 100% compliance with the Fitness Consultation & Evaluation process; educating the membership on available service options, implementing an initial workout plan, and establishing a scheduled follow up and assessment process
- Utilize information gathered during the member onboarding process to suggest personal training options (group training, one-on-one personal training, etc.) and nutrition guidance for every member, qualifying, informing, inspiring, and converting leads to long-term training clients
- Leverage AF Training services and technology (AF App, Evolt 360, Myzone, etc.) to support member growth
- Monitor member records, accounting for their health and medical history, goals, workout preferences, scheduled assessments, and progress notes
- Maintain a fluid and organized schedule, allowing for efficient coverage of all member interactions
- Proactively address retention barriers, and generate new referral leads beyond the initial sales process
- Evaluation of training sessions and adherence to in-person and virtual programming protocol, ensuring processes are followed and high-quality sessions are delivered
- Compliance to Anytime Workouts, providing scientific programming for each muscle group, regardless of participants' capabilities and limitations
- Coach trainers to evaluate individuals' abilities, needs, and physical conditions, and offer suitable pre-prescribed modifications to meet any special requirements
- Coach trainers on providing corrective measures, coaching breathing techniques, and maintaining individuals' exertion levels to maximize benefits from exercise routines
- Compliance and enforcement of safety rules and regulations governing the use of the exercise equipment
- Compile and distribute industry information and resources regarding nutrition, weight control, and lifestyle issues
- Create an environment that inspires members and guests to share their positive experiences with friends and family by delivering top-notch customer service and aiming to improve the lives of each person they meet.
- Promote coaching services in the execution of engagement campaigns, national marketing campaigns, and community outreach efforts using assets and operations created by the Anytime Fitness corporate teams.
- Generate content to assist in maintaining the club’s social media presence
- Keep the facility in a clean and orderly condition, performing heavy cleaning duties, as well as routine maintenance activities, and notifying ownership of need for repairs
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders; can derive insights from others through probing questions and collaborative problem solving
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to execute multiple initiatives autonomously
- Demonstrates mastery of skills in the areas of physical fitness, nutrition, and general health
- Ability to effectively coach and motivate employees
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Analyzes client behavior and abilities to introduce them to personal/group training packages
- Ability to stay up to date with the latest fitness techniques and health trends
- Participate in company functions, promotions, and events. Attend and participate in regional meetings
- Perform administrative duties, such as following up with members, maintaining client records, and filing reports
